Franzita's talent has been recognized through many International and National singing Awards and Scholarships, including the National Mozart Competition, the Lady Maud Warrender Prize and the Clonter Opera Prize.

Soprano Franzita's acadamic and vocal training commenced at The Royal Irish Academy of Music (Dublin).

This was followed by a further 3 years at The Royal College of Music (London)andThe National Opera Studio (London).

Franzita was subsequently made a Junior Fellow of The Royal College of Music (London).

Franzita was also a finalist at the coveted Mozart Singing Competition

Fanzita made her U.S debut as Euridice in Gluck's Orphee et Euridice for Opera Colorado. She also has sung Leonore in Fidelio for Opera Theatre Company in Dublin.

UK roles have included Third Norn in Wagner's Gotterdammerang for English National Opera: Donna Elvira, Pamina in Mozart's Zauberflote, and the title role in Beethoven's Leonore (an early version of Fidelio) for Welsh National Opera

For Opera Ireland, Franzita has appeared as the title role of Janacek's Katya Kabanova, Mrs, Foran in Turnage's Silver Tassie, Micaela in Bizet's Carmen, the Third Norm, Woglinde, and Gerhilde in Wagner's Ring des Nibelungen, and the title role in Janacek's Jenufa
